Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving has to be one of the best holidays of the year.  Of course, the only thing that would make it a bit better is seeing more of my family and all of the little ones, but this is an 'other side of the family' holiday, which is so great as well!  Maybe one year I can have the best of both worlds!

Today was filled with lots of great food (I could eat pumpkin pie and five-inch-high apple pie all day every day), visiting with family, and a bit of relaxation.  And the best part is, this is only the start of a fantastic weekend ahead.  Tomorrow will be an entire day of working from home, which is hard to come by these days, so that's wicked exciting (I have 'issues' I know).  Saturday I'm getting my car worked on for a third (and hopefully last) Saturday in a row, going to a 1st birthday party, and then a 27th birthday party!  Hopefully they will be quite different.  And then on Sunday (in addition to something I call crock-pot Sunday - more on that later) I get to spend the day with one of my favorite little people in the world, my five-year-old Goddaughter.  I'm super excited about that =)  And then, just when the excitement seems to be wrapping up, I have four lovely days of work, followed by, wait for it, a four day trip to Florida with my dad and brother, to visit my mom, sister, and my other favorite God-daughter.  Woohoo!  It will be so great to be in 70-80 degree weather for a few days and see everyone - can't wait!

Okay back to more good food - hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving!
